Welcome to GINA’s NGFS related storage archive!

Please ⚠️ be aware ⚠️ GINA’s NGFS processed fire detections are experimental and ⛔ shouldn’t be used ⛔ for wildfire management at this stage.

Here is a brief summery of what is available:

Notes:

Due to file size limitations in the NGFS processing, the output is broken up into up to three parts for a single pass. In the NGFS Output archive, the “0-3k” directory contain the VIIRS lines 1 to 3200, the “3-6k” directory lines 3201 to 6400, and the “6k-“ directory lines 6401 to 9000. Each viirs line should only be processed once. A single VIIRS overpass will generate output in one or more of those directories depending on the pass length.
